Emma Dolley RVN
Emma joined Woodlands Veterinary Group in August 2000, and did her training at Woodlands and attended Duchy College where she qualified. Her role as head nurse includes supporting the whole team to provide a high standard of care. Outside of Woodlands Emma attends Dell School of Dance where I have been a member since the age of four. She loves to travel with family and friends, enjoying all aspects from cruising the Med to skiing the Swiss Alps to caravanning in Cornwall.
Laura Coyle RVN
Deputy Head Nurse
Laura started working at Woodlands Veterinary Centre in 2005 after leaving school. In 2006 she began her veterinary nurse training, qualifying in 2010. She is planning to attend the Harper Adams University College to further my training and achieve a Diploma in Advanced Veterinary Nursing (DipAVN) with BSc. At home Laura has a one-eyed cat, which she rehomed from the Woodside sanctuary and in her spare time she enjoys keeping fit, mainly running and going to the gym, socializing and going to the cinema.
Charlotte Bickle RVN
Charlotte qualified with a Foundation Degree in Veterinary Nursing in summer 2015. She then went onto working at an orangutan rehabilitation centre in Borneo for three months which she thoroughly enjoyed. In September 2015, Charlotte became part of the Woodlands nursing team. She particularly enjoys being the ward nurse for the hospital and being a part of the inpatients journey here with us. In her spare time she enjoys going for long walks with Bindy, her Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross and seeing friends and family.
Rebecca Coath RVN
Bex joined the woodlands team in 2009 having previously worked for five years at a local animal rescue centre. Whilst training she attended Bicton College as a student veterinary nurse, qualifying in 2013. Bex has two cats, Bert a ginger tom and Dorothy by naughty torti! Both of which she hand reared from tiny kittens. Outside of work Bex likes to see friends and loves travelling going to as many new places as she can.
Holli Crompton RVN
Holli relocated to Plymouth and joined Woodlands in January 2017. She qualified in 2009 and enjoys all aspects of vet nursing having a special interest in rehabilitation and physiotherapy. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family and eating out and weekends away.
Tina Evans RVN
Tina has worked at the hospital branch since August 2003 as a qualified night nurse. She has been in the veterinary profession for many years and qualified from Bicton College in 1999. As a night nurse Tina care for all the inpatients and deal with all emergencies that come in out of hours. Tina lives with her family who love animals as well; they have a Border Terrier, Tegan, a cat, Jake, and an indoor guinea pig, Chip. She enjoys holidays in the sun, watching films, shopping, eating out and spending time with family and friends.
Todd Jones RVN
Todd began working for Woodlands as an SVN at the Ivybridge branch in 2007. Prior to Woodlands, he gained seven years’ experience working with animals in a non-veterinary profession. In his spare time Todd supports and works with charities helping stray animals abroad.
Tina O'Sullivan-Bond RVN
Tina has worked at Woodlands Veterinary Hospital since 2003 as part of the dedicated night team here. She takes care of the inpatients, dealing with telephone enquiries out of hours and assisting the duty vet in the treatment of Emergencies as they arise throughout the night. Tina qualified from Berkshire College of Agriculture when I was 21 and has since enjoyed working within the veterinary profession, continuing to develop her knowledge. Outside of Woodlands Tina lives with her family and a rather grumpy old cat. She likes to spend time enjoying the natural benefits of where we live, the moors and the water (weather permitting).
Lara Pennicotte-Henrie RVN
Lara gained her veterinary nursing qualification at Bicton College in West Sussex and then in 2002 moved to Devon with her husband. She has previously worked in an orthopaedic referral hospital and joined Woodlands in 2010. She particularly enjoys anaesthesia, orthopaedic and radiography cases. Lara is responsible for helping to coach student nurses and in her spare time enjoys spending time exploring Devon with her family.
Laura Rowlands RVN
Laura started working at Woodlands in 2009 as a student veterinary nurse, whilst also attending Hartpury College. In 2013 she qualified with a BSc (Hons) Veterinary Nursing Science degree. In 2017 she qualified as an SQP and now has involvement with the pharmacy department here at Woodlands. Outside of work Laura enjoys retail therapy and spending time with family and friends. She has two cats named Brian and Malcolm who she adopted from Woodside Animal Sanctuary, and a Horsfield tortoise called Norman.
Student Veterinary Nurse
Abigail joined Woodlands in August 2012 as a student veterinary nurse; prior to this she studied animal management at Duchy College for two years. Abigail then went straight to Bicton College to study for her diploma in veterinary nursing and is hoping to become a qualified veterinary nurse later in 2017. In her spare time Abigail enjoys spending time with her family, friends and walks with her Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Grizzom who is a very much loved and spoilt member of the family.
Student Veterinary Nurse
Sam started working at Woodlands in July 2014 training as a veterinary nurse and attending Bicton College. She hopes to qualified by the end of 2017. Sam has a cat called Ellie and Alfred her crazy little rabbit. Outside of work she enjoys going for walks on the Moors and socialising with friends and family.
Student Veterinary Nurse
Jade started working at Woodlands in 2013 as a student veterinary nurse. She is currently studying a diploma in veterinary nursing at Bicton College in East Budleigh. She aspires to become a qualified registered veterinary nurse and to study nurse clinics in more detail. Jade has two Border Terriers called Buster and Smudge, as well as pet rabbits and guinea pigs. In her spare time she enjoys reading and exploring different places with her dogs.
